SNOW REPORT - Friday 3 August Hi I'm Kate, with Mt Baw Baw's Snow Report for Friday the 3rd of August. We have managed to get a few nights of snowmaking and grooming this week, so get up to Mt Baw Baw and make the most of winter! We currently have an average natural snow depth of 12cm, 42cm in snowmaking areas and more snow on the way in the next couple of days. There is plenty of snow for snowplay and sight seeing and heading in to the weekend we currently have 5 lifts turning including Tank Hill, Hut Run, Painted, the Magic Carpet and Summit up to tower 4. The Terrain Park crew have opened Painted Park for the weekend as well as the Big Air Bag (subject to weather conditions), keep your eye on the website or follow Baw Baw Park on Facebook for more updates. Last Saturday, Australia's best riders gathered at Mt Baw Baw for the 6th annual Forum Battle at Baw Baw. Chris De Campo impressed the judges to take out the honours for the second year in a row. Tom Pelley and Sam Currie took out the minor places and Shaun Ingham won the best trick for the 2nd year in a row. It was a great day for competitors and spectators, we are already looking forward to next years event! Theres never a dull moment at Baw Baw, and this weekend is no exception. We have plenty of live music on the mountain on both Friday and Saturday nights at the Alpine Hotel and Kellys Wine Bar. We have Night Skiing on Saturday from 6- 8pm.
